How do I get support for Qualtrics?
If you can't create an account or log in to Qualtrics, contact the Service Desk at 815-753-8100 to verify your credentials.

How do I change my password?
Your Qualtrics account is tied to your NIU AccountID. If you need to change your password, you must do so with password.niu.edu
NIU faculty, staff, and students can use it for academic and administrative purposes on university-owned and personal machines for no cost.
Qualtrics is web-based so there is no software to download. Qualtrics is supported on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome browsers with JavaScript enabled. Outdated browsers (ones that sll use TLS 1.0/1.1) will be denied access.

Go to niu.qualtrics.com
- Enter your NIU AccountID and password and click the Sign In button.

First-time users will see a screen saying "This seems to be the first time you are logging in to Qualtrics" and asking you to select
- I don’t have a Qualtrics account – Select this option if you do not have NIU's instance of the Qualtrics survey tool (or if you have never used Qualtrics before).
- You will see a box asking that you accept the Terms of Service. Once accepted,
- Your account is now ready to be used. You will then always use your NIU AccountID and password to log in.

I already have a Qualtrics account – Select this option if you currently have a Qualtrics account.
- You will see an entry screen where you can enter your existing Qualtrics account (e.g., jsmith@niu.edu). Enter your existing account and password, then click on the Migrate Account button.
- Your account is now ready to be used along with your existing surveys, results, and settings from your old account. You will now be able to use your NIU Account ID and password to log in to Qualtrics.
